Access – The camping areas are available to Festival-goers who have purchased the all in Festival/camping ticket. Security will be checking wrist bands in and out of campsites. Opportunities to pay to upgrade your tickets (subject to availability) will be available at the gate. You will need your ticket stub/proof of purchase price to do so.
The car park is 100 to 200 metres to both the family and singles camping areas. We provide wheelbarrows (£5 refundable deposit) to transport your beer & gear from car park to camping areas or better still, a free porter service (c/- Big Yellow Trucks). Donations to Sunflowerfest’s chosen charities greatly appreciated.
- Gates open at 10am on Friday 17th August. Weekend campers are invited to stay over to the Monday 20th August but will be required to vacate the premises by no later than midday that day.
- For all Day ticket holders – gates open at 10am on all 3 days and you must leave the premises by 1am unless you choose to upgrade your ticket (as above).
Family Camping – Through the Sunflowerfest village turn left at the farm shed (second stage) through the gate to the family camping area. This is a separate dedicated family/ quiet camp site. Adults must be accompanied by children in order to camp in this area. This site will have stewards on the gate to ensure only those with appropriate wrist bands can enter this area.
Singles/General camp site – Turn right after the Kids Zone and follow signs to the Raspberry Camp (down the lane and past the camp fire site and Sunflower stage.
All camping areas will have 24 hour stewarding and toilet blocks. There are taps for drinking water but no shower facilities.
Please oblige security personnel by clearly showing your festival wrist band if asked. Those who do not have the appropriate wrist band permitting them access to the site will be turned back at the gate and/or asked to leave the site.
Please note that you are solely responsible for your belongings. Sunflowerfest will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to your belongings. Please bear in mind that the most commonly lost items in the camping fields are keys, wallets, phones and cameras. Please keep them safe!
Food and hot beverage vans will be available for those needing nourishment during the night.
Camping tips -
- No alcohol may be brought onto festival site – There will be a reasonably priced “off licence” available to buy alcohol on site.
- Strictly no bottles/glass on any campsite
- No campfires permitted. Cooking in the camp sites in the designated area is permitted
- Please do not take up too much space when setting up your camp…camping space is precious.
- It’s helpful to mark your pitch with a flag or distinguishing feature (other than a sunflower) so you can find it easily enough especially at night.
- Stewards and security staff are there to help and advise please use them. In case of emergency they are your first port of call.
- Please leave the farm as you find it – beautiful and clear of all litter. Use the recycling bins provided.
- Bring your wellies and weather-proof clothing in case of bad weather
Disability and Special needs – Sunflowerfest is an all inclusive festival and we will do everything in our power to accommodate all patrons who wish to attend the festival. We encourage anyone with disability or special needs to contact us ahead of the festival and we will do our best to welcome and look after you.
