General Release Early Birds go on sale Monday 5th Sep at midday.

So 2016 is officially wound down and we are gradually getting into the groove of preparations for 2017. So first things first for all you truly die hard Sunflowerfest fans. If you have purchased a ticket in the past you will have recieved an email from us offering you presale discounted early bird tickets, this is a limited time offer so don't dilly-dally if you want to save the maximum amount of pennies.

For all the Sunflowerfest virgins our general release early birds will be on sale Monday 5th Septemeber at midday priced at £59.95. Again, there are a limited number of early birds so move fast if you don't want to miss out.

Rowdy Singles Camping was totally full this year so we have created a dedicated ticket for this campsite and numbers are limited. We will also be bringing a dedicated campervan area with power, yes POWER! We are working hard to raise the bar higher for next year and we have some very cool plans afoot to bring you an even bigger and better Sunflowerfest experience for 2017.

So its over to you to get your tickets and spread the Sunflowerfest love.

What an amazing weekend!!!

The Sunflower's are coming out en masse now and its a perfect day at the farm where Lou Reed's Transformer is playing in the background. All is well in the land of the Sunflower and plans are afoot already for next years festival on 28-30 July 2017. The tidy-up is well advanced and a big thanks are owed to Mick, Thursa and the team of Bin'n'Gone for their hard work and wise counsel before during and after our best ever festival :)

Thank you for being the best crowd in the country and being part of something so positive and life affirmimg.

We will do our part and work hard to raise the bar higher for next year so its over to you guys to spread the love and tell everyone.

Sunflowerfest Shuttle Bus from Belfast & Sprucefield

We will have a regular shuttle bus leaving from Glengal Street outside Europa Bus Centre in Belfast City Centre and outside McDonalds at Sprucefield Shopping Centre to and from the festival. Return from Belfast - £10 or Return from Sprucefield - £6

The Roots Competition Overall Winner

Belfast Based Paper Dogs won last nights Belfast final of our The Roots Competition. The four piece who blend blues, funk and more into an eclectic and mercurial sonic stew will now get to play at Sunflowerfest this coming August. Big thanks to all the bands for taking part. The Roots Competition

Friday 27th May 2016

Singer Songwriter John Andrews won Thursday's Belfast heat of our The Roots Competition. He will go on to join Paper Dgs and Part Time Pilots in the final on 17th June in Voodoo Belfast. Big thanks to MOSA, Towers, False Solutions and Aislinn Logan for taking part.

After so many requests for this stage we are excited to announce our new electronic venue ELECTROMOOT. We have curated the top names in NI electronic music and paired up with our friends at Funktion-One to finally make this a reality for you. Part Time Pilots win The Roots Omagh

Saturday 21st May 2016

Part Time Pilots narrowly won our Omagh heat of The Roots Competition at The Top of the Town bar last night. They staved off some stiff competition from serious prog rock outfit Event Horizon and a solid performance from Not Today. Part Time Pilots go on to play the final in Voodoo Belfast on 17th June.

All Applications for 2016 festival are now closed. We will reopen applications for 2017 in September. Thanks to the over whelming number of people who did apply and have shown a true commitment to Sunflowerfest. We had so many musicians apply that our team is just not big enough to reply to everyine individually so thanks again. See you all in August!
